I’m Chetan.

I’m a copywriter with over 7 years of experience. There was a time when I was an account manager, and I used to Excel at making dashboards to report client growth. I grew tired of it, not because I was bad at it, mind you, I was one of the best. I found a different kind of thrill in the artboards I made on Canva for pamphlets and mailers I’d write for the same clients. Assuming I’d be good at writing, I joined advertising and found myself around storyboards and a lot of moodboards. In the past few years, I have also made a lot of case boards, and with that, I fear I am out of boards to give.

From sodas to EVs. From cookies to toothpaste. From chips to gymwear. I have had the fortune of working on some of the best brands in the country and some globally. But like any copywriter, I have some of my best ideas in folders that keep filling. I love writing for films, but over time, I have found a taste for ideas that go beyond the same old mediums. Ideas that are born out of great strategic insights with perfect business sense and ideas that make no sense to that brand manager but all the sense to the brain-rotted, I often find myself gravitating to both ends.

I plan to be a bartender someday, hopefully before AI takes over. Shaking whiskey sours and picantes while chatting with customers. You know, listening to stories and all.
Or, it might just be for the alcohol.
